Niagara Wedding Photography – Balls Falls Conservation, Samantha & Ryen

One of the best things about being a photographer is meeting people and getting to know them so that I can convey who they are through the images I create. No two love stories are ever the same and I relish in the moments I get to spend with my clients. Such was the case with Sam and Ryen: two people so very obviously in love.

Their preparations began in Welland at two separate houses surrounded with those closest to them before heading off to the big barn at Ball’s Falls Conservation for both their ceremony and reception. The early summer weather had brought us some rain that day so they wed in the gorgeous rustic barn in an intimate ceremony, sharing their vows to one another privately while their loved ones watched over them. Miraculously the rain let up just in time for us to photograph their family and bridal portraits so we spent some time exploring the beautiful scenery around the venue.

More guests joined the happy couple as cocktail hour began and they were serenaded with live music and some delicious appetizers! I was absolutely amazed with how much work Sam and Ryen put into their décor that save for the table linens, they did themselves! The personal touches to everything that day made it so much more meaningful. Even during their first dance as husband and wife they surprised their guests with a display of their favourite lyrics from their song “I won’t let you go” by Hedley. How romantic is that?!
