Miranda & Miguel, Downtown St. Catharines – Niagara Wedding Photographer

When I met with Miranda and Miguel, we had discussed having a unique and edgy engagement session to really highlight their personalities and their love for one another. You can probably imagine how excited I was when they chose downtown St. Catharines for one of their locations. The very BEST part about this was the fact that this couple had such strong ties to this place because one of their first dates happened here. How incredibly romantic is that?!

They arrived looking absolutely stunning. Their dressy outfits were a wonderful contrast against the gritty brick backgrounds and sprawling graffiti walls of the city. While we explored some of the streets, Miranda and Miguel reminisced about their memories here, even pointing out some old locations that they used to spend time at. It really made for some great emotions in their images and is one of the main reasons I always suggest that my couples do their engagement session somewhere they have a personal attachment to.

After our adventures around The Garden City, we headed over to the gorgeous Queenston Heights for a change of scenery and some snuggling in the park. Our first priority was to get an image in front of the iconic front entrance of the park which is a beautifully landscaped stone and iron gate. For the rest of our time, we wandered around and utilized the last few golden rays of the sun to capture a few shots in their second outfits.

Please enjoy just a few of my favourite shots from this amazing evening!
