Last Friday I celebrated my thirty-first birthday. Since I’ve
been so sick and was still recovering, Alex and I stayed in and enjoyed a quiet
night of watching movies and eating pizza. Just a nice, low key day! The
absolute BEST part of my day though, was finding out that I now share a
birthday with the cutest little baby ever, Melanie and Travis’ son Finnegan! Congratulations
guys, I am so proud of you both – you’re going to be amazing parents and I can’t
wait to see where the adventures with baby Haws take you.
A few weeks prior to this eventful day, Melanie and I ventured out into the
Shorthills to take some photographs of her before baby made his big entrance
into the world. We’d been planning on doing this for a while, but the constant
super cold to super warm was making scheduling difficult. Thankfully, the day
we chose was perfect and even had a fine dusting of snow to really bring Mel’s
photos to life. The red dress really pops against the dull browns and greens of
the location.
I am so glad we were able to get outside and photograph these moments for Melanie. Please enjoy a little glimpse into her maternity gallery.
