In contrast to their early summer wedding, Sarah and Steve
opted to do their photos in the late fall at a favourite walking trail in St.
Catharines. It was a chilly and slightly breezy day and I immediately knew I
wanted to use the wind to my advantage. Having some movement in photographs,
whether it’s the windswept hair, attire or even something as simple in the way
the pampas grass moves, it adds to the romance in an image.
We stopped and took advantage of the beautiful scenery along the way out to the
lighthouse, appreciating the last of the fall colours. Engagements are a great
chance for me to get to know the couple too! Sarah shared that she is
originally from Toronto, so we made sure to grab a few shots with the cityscape
of her old home in the background. They even brought along their adorable dog
too, who was the perfect poser for the camera. How cute is that bandana from
Luck & Mutts?!
I am so looking forward to their big day, which is fast approaching! Until
then, enjoy a few of my favourite photos from their November engagement
session.
Happy Monday everyone!
