A few weeks ago I met up with Kayla and Mitchell to
photograph their engagement. The spot we chose out in Niagara-on-the-lake was
very special to them as it was the same place that Mitchell proposed!
Leaving Welland that day it was raining, but after cancelling for the weather
once already we decided to brave the weather. Thankfully, we had perfect timing
and not a drop of rain for their session! We spent some time exploring the
woods and the field of long grass before venturing down to the beach. This is
also a favourite spot of mine because it’s a bit of a hidden gem here in
Niagara and hardly ever busy. It’s also absolutely gorgeous in the summer!
We definitely had luck on our side that day, it rained all the way home!
Kayla and Mitchell’s love is vivacious, joyous and sweet. I can’t get over the way they look at one another and how much fun we had that day, which has me SO excited for their wedding this weekend. For now, here are a few images from their engagement session.
