allison & eritier, john michaels, ontario – niagara wedding photographer

Allison and Eritier were wed on a gorgeous, warm August weekend surrounded by their closest friends and family. From our initial meeting, I had been very excited to see their creativity and hard work come to fruition as they embraced all of the things that were special to them.

I still remember the way they smiled at eachother as they recounted the day they met at the gym. These two share an affinity for staying active and it’s so wonderful that they motivate and inspire eachother. Their ceremony was held at the International Flatwater Centre here in Welland, a place fond to Allison for the many hours she spent on the canal rowing. I loved the view of the water in the background and the way Eritier looked at his wife-to-be as she appeared at the top of the aisle. What a beautiful and unique place to say I do!

We spent some time photographing some family photos and wedding party photos at the canal before venturing off to Merrit Park, another iconic spot in Welland that is host to summer concerts. The warm, golden sunlight trickling through the greenery really made for a beautiful backdrop for the rest of their images. We even stopped to take a few in front of the rowing signs in the parking lot before the Limo whisked them away to their last stop of the evening at John Michaels where they party got first dibs on the AMAZING antipasto on display. They have the most delicious food here and such a warm, welcoming staff.

Allison and Eritier spent the rest of the evening celebrating their wedding. You can definitely feel the amazing energy their families have and how immensely happy everyone was. It was truly such an honour to be a part of such a special time in their lives.
